About

Our Work

W.E. Can Lead has developed a two tiered program to give girls the holistic support they need to develop into leaders.

Our sustainable model is also committed to tackling the negative attitudes and cultural norms which hold girls back from fulfilling their potential.

All girls initially join our 5 year program through our After School Empowerment clubs. In these weekly group sessions they take part in a professionally designed curriculum which includes interactive classroom instruction, public speaking and projects in their schools and communities.

At the end of this first year, all are invited to apply for our Young Leaders Development Program.

Those accepted will transition to a more intensive personal development curriculum. Their active learning will be complemented by our international mentoring programming. We know how critical this component is so we have taken the extra step and engaged an Industrial/organizational psychologist to assist us with selections and pairings.

Each of our Young Leaders will also receive financial support to cover tuition, uniforms and other supplies.

Through our Inspirational Speakers Series and our annual Summer camps we will continue to work with the girls who do not gain a place in the Young Leaders Development program.
