Our Girls

The realities of life for an adolescent girl in Sierra Leone are bleak:

  • 33% of secondary school age girls are not in school.
  • More than one-quarter (28%) of adolescent girls age 15-19 are already mothers or pregnant with their first child.
  • The median age at first marriage for females is 18.0 years.

Our goal is to change this narrative.
